Optional storage is off until you choose it. “Essential only” and “Accept optional” are offered with equal access, and you can change your choice at any time.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small values a website or service stores in a browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features. They can support sign-in, remember choices, preserve a DJ session, prevent abuse, and enable user-requested integrations.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required to provide security, authentication, form protection, consent records, session and queue continuity, and basic site operation. These cannot be disabled through our preference control because the relevant feature may not function without them. You may block them in your browser, but protected features may stop working.
Functional and optional
Used only when you choose to connect Apple Music or enable other optional functionality. These may remember provider authorization or settings needed for the requested feature.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics or advertising provider is installed in this release. DJ Nanaz does not use behavioral-advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy and the consent interface must be updated before the technology is enabled.
3. Current storage inventory
| Name or category | Provider | Purpose | Type / duration |
|---|---|---|---|
djnanaz-consent-v2 | DJ Nanaz | Records essential/functional/analytics choices and update date | Local storage until cleared or replaced |
nf_jwt, nf_refresh | Netlify Identity | Secure invited-user authentication and session renewal | Secure authentication cookies; duration controlled by Identity/session configuration |
| DJ session and queue keys | DJ Nanaz | Preserve authorized host session, queue, user preferences, and recovery state | Local/session storage; varies by feature and can be cleared by logout/browser controls |
| MusicKit authorization and provider storage | Apple | Enable Apple Music authorization, catalog/library access, and playback when requested | Apple-controlled cookies/storage and session duration |
| Security and delivery identifiers | Netlify | CDN delivery, abuse prevention, form processing, and platform security | May be session-based or provider-controlled |
4. Your choices
- Select “Essential only” to decline optional functionality.
- Select “Accept optional” to allow functional Apple Music-related storage. No analytics provider is currently active.
- Use browser controls to inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data.
- Log out and disconnect Apple Music when you no longer want those sessions active.
- Global Privacy Control is recognized as an essential-only preference. Because no personal information is sold or shared for behavioral advertising, no separate sale opt-out cookie is needed in this release.
Deleting storage may sign you out, clear preferences, or remove locally preserved queue/session information.
5. Third-party services
Apple, Netlify, Facebook, and Instagram operate under their own privacy and cookie practices. Social links open the provider’s website; no embedded social tracking pixels are intentionally loaded by this site. Apple Music functionality is loaded or activated only as needed for the user-requested console experience.
6. Updates and contact
We will update this inventory when storage practices materially change. Questions or requests may be sent to naz@djnanaz.com. See the full Privacy Policy for information rights and disclosures.
