Connect the
real booth.

This is a one-time setup on the same Windows computer that runs VirtualDJ. Keep VirtualDJ open whenever DJ Nanaz is performing.

Open DJ Console

STEP 1

Install VirtualDJ Pro

Use VirtualDJ 2023 or newer with an active Pro license. Open it and confirm normal local audio output before continuing.

STEP 2

Sign in to SoundCloud inside VirtualDJ

Open Online Music in the VirtualDJ browser, choose SoundCloud, and sign in to your eligible SoundCloud account. Manually search and play one full track. DJ Nanaz never receives your SoundCloud password or audio stream.

STEP 3

Install Network Control

In VirtualDJ, open Config → Extensions → Effects → Other and install Network Control. Then find it in the Master Effect drop-down under Auto-Start and open its settings.

STEP 4

Keep the control server private

Choose port 8090, set a strong authentication string, and bind it to this computer only. The Bridge rejects non-loopback VirtualDJ addresses. Do not expose the Network Control port through your router or public firewall.

STEP 5

Configure DJ Nanaz Bridge

Open the DJ Console, copy its session and Bridge secret, and place them in the local Bridge configuration together with the Network Control authentication string. Secrets remain on this computer and are never placed in the guest QR link.

STEP 6

Start dry-run, then go live

Run the supplied Bridge mock check first. Start the real Bridge only after all checks pass. The Console must show three green states—Bridge, VirtualDJ, and SoundCloud—before Start AI DJ unlocks.

First live test Use speakers at low volume and two known tracks. The Bridge is tested against a fake VirtualDJ server here, but the exact SoundCloud search result behavior must be calibrated once on your installed VirtualDJ.
